What is a reserve item and how do I order it?

Answer

Course reserves are books and movies that a professor has asked the library to keep for his/her students. They are usually required or recommended readings. The course reserves are located in the stack area opposite the service desk.

Course reserves are available for 2-hour use in library. No check-out is required. Scanner is available in copy room for free electronic copies of pages or chapters. Please place course reserves on designated return cart. Do not return to shelf.

Faculty may request for the library to place items on course reserve by filling out the online request form. For e-reserves, please see the guide below.
