How do I get an account to check out books?

Answer

Anyone over age 18 may apply for a Community Borrower card. Apply at the McKeldin Library circulation desk at the University of Maryland, College Park campus. The community borrower card allows you to check out books at all College Park libraries, including the Priddy Library.

A $25-100 fee is charged to Maryland residents annually to become a Community Borrower, depending on where you live.
