Not paying library fines may result in the blocking of course registration, graduation, and transcripts, as well as your library privileges. 

Library fines should be paid to the library that owns the book. You will receive a letter in the mail telling you how to pay the fine. 

Each library and university handles fines differently. For Priddy Library items, fines are handled by the UMD Office of the Bursar. Twice a year any unpaid UMD bills, including library fines, will be sent to a collection agency.
