I have a public library card. Can I check out books at USG?
Answer
You cannot use your public library card to check out books at USG.
To check out books, you must be faculty, staff, or a student of any public university (USMAI) in Maryland. Others who can check out items are MCPS employees, USMAI Friends of the Libraries, special borrowers, community borrowers, and alumni.
You can apply for a community borrowers card at the circulation desk in McKeldin Library at College Park.
