How can I get a book from another campus?

  • To get a book from another campus, you will need to search the USMAI Catalog.
  •  Click on the correct item record on the result screen and then click on ‘Availability’.
  •  You can request a book if the collection is ‘Stacks’.
  •  Click on ‘Requests’ if you are not logged on then you will be prompted to do so.
  •  Select your institution and login. The login procedure varies from one institution to another. You may be asked to enter your '14-digit ID number' and 'last name' or use your university User ID to login.
  •  From the dropdown menu select a library where you wish to pick up the book
  •  Click on 'Submit'.
  •  Login to My Account to check the status of your request.
