How do I borrow a book?

Start by checking the USMAI catalog at http://catalog.umd.edu. Search from this page if you want to search the collections of all of the USMAI institutions.
To search only the Priddy Library collection, click on "choose campus" then click "catalog" under Shady Grove Library. To search only the collection of another institution, click on "catalog" under that institution's name.
To get a book that is in the Priddy Library (Shady Grove) collection, note the call number and visit the library to borrow it. To have a book sent to the Priddy Library from another institution, or to have a book sent from the Priddy Library to another institution, you will need to request it.
