I am trying to find an article about the Webster City Iowa hospital that was torn down in 1939 the story was reported in the Des Moines newspaper. At the time that the hospital was torn down it was an abandoned building and some homeless people had been living there. I believe the name of the hospital was Holy Cross (but I am not 100% sure)

Hi,

might be this two links will help you find the information needed:

History of Hamilton County, Iowa: https://sites.google.com/site/hamiltoncountyhistory/

Webster’s City First Hospital by Martin E. Nass: http://iagenweb.org/hamilton/WebsterCityFirstHosp.htm

you could also send a request to the University of Iowa libraries http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/eresources/ and ask them if they could send you a copy of the article which appeared in the Des Moins Register on the Webster City Hospital. It seems they have the online version.
